The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science curriculum covers core scientific subjects like chemistry, biochemistry, and biology alongside specialized nutrition courses focused on human health and disease. The program offers elective options in the senior year for concentrations in exercise science, sports nutrition, or public health. Learners will explore nutrition science's multidisciplinary aspects while developing expertise in analyzing nutrition's impact on health and implementing dietary strategies for wellness. Graduates will fulfill the academic prerequisites for ACEND-accredited Future Education Model Graduate Programs (FG), paving the way to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs). The degree also provides foundational coursework for pursuing advanced degrees in diverse healthcare fields.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
