The Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry equips students with fundamental chemical knowledge about biological systems and the practical laboratory expertise needed for pharmaceutical research.
As a chemistry major, you'll gain fresh insights into the world by examining matter's fundamental structure, then applying that understanding to improve human life. Whether it's creating more potent medications, ensuring water purity, or engineering durable materials for everyday use...the possibilities are endless.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
