Computer Engineering is a multifaceted and ever-present discipline that impacts daily life in numerous ways. It focuses on developing devices and systems for processing information. Professionals in this field work on designing and improving all facets of computing, with expertise in resolving crucial hardware-software interaction challenges that underpin modern technological systems. UB's Computer Engineering BS program provides students with comprehensive training in key areas like circuit design, system performance assessment, and hardware-software integration for embedded systems. Beyond academics, students can engage with organizations such as the Association for Computing Machinery and Scientista, serve as teaching assistants, or contribute to research initiatives. Alumni often secure fulfilling industry positions or continue their education through advanced degree programs.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
