Pursuing a computational physics degree provides outstanding training in both physics and computer science. UB boasts one of America's pioneering computer science programs and houses a leading supercomputing facility. The curriculum begins with core courses and laboratory work covering computer science fundamentals, programming, physics, calculus, and mathematics, progressing to higher-level classes that develop analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
