Chemical engineers oversee the cost-effective, safe, and eco-friendly manufacturing of essential products, ranging from minute quantities of novel pharmaceuticals to massive volumes of industrial chemicals. Our Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering offers a comprehensive foundation, equipping graduates for roles in engineering development, design, economic analysis, sales, construction, operations, and management. Students in this program will boost their ability to design practical chemical processes as they transition into professional settings. Many undergraduates advance to graduate studies and research careers, while others pursue degrees in medicine, business, or law.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
