The Biochemistry BS program aims to foster undergraduate students' scientific growth through classroom instruction, seminar discussions, and hands-on lab work. This approach helps students (i) grasp the fundamental chemical and molecular principles underlying biological systems, and (ii) develop skills to produce, analyze, and critically assess biochemical and molecular biology data.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
