The Physics Department provides a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with a Teaching of Science specialization focusing on Physics and Chemistry. This program equips students with fundamental knowledge in both physics and chemistry, preparing them to teach these subjects at the secondary school level (grades 7-12). While this pathway is excellent for those planning to continue their education in graduate-level teaching programs, it may not be the best choice for students aiming to pursue advanced physics studies.
