Discover your path at UB, where you have the opportunity to focus on globally prominent languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. As a linguistics student, you'll delve into various aspects of language, from sounds and word formation to meaning and sentence structure. The program allows you to examine language systems in depth, with the flexibility to specialize in a particular language through advanced coursework.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
