The BA in German program is structured to equip students with strong language abilities and cultural understanding, preparing them for careers in education, research, or enhancing their competitiveness in today's globalized world. German courses maintain small class sizes to facilitate more personalized instruction, increased interaction, and immersive language practice. The curriculum explores diverse subjects, with Independent Study options available to align with individual student objectives.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
