This specialized certificate in library and information science is designed for individuals who hold a master's degree in the field and seek to enhance their skills or transition to new career paths. The 18-credit interdisciplinary curriculum is customized to align with each student's educational objectives and professional aspirations.
You must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. You must have a master's degree in information and library science or a related field. You will also be asked to come for an admission interview to review your program objectives. If you are a current ILS MS student at UB, you do not need to supply transcripts or letters of reference.
