Whether you aim to build your career in the United States or internationally, our master's programs provide comprehensive applied economics education and practical experience to help you emerge as an industry leader. You'll master core economic principles, public policy frameworks, development economics, econometric methods, and data science applications. The curriculum also equips you to evaluate market dynamics, assess the economic worth of goods and natural assets, and comprehend how economic factors shape policy choices across public and private sectors.
We provide two graduate options: a three-semester Master of Science in Applied Econometrics and Data Analytics (AEDA) and a four-semester Master of Science in Applied Economics and Policy Analysis (AEPA). Whichever path you select, you'll become part of a close community of students, professors, and graduates working to address critical economic challenges through rigorous research and analysis in their organizations and local areas.
Program cohorts typically consist of about 10 students. View our brief alumni video to hear former students share their program experiences. Our department's 12 dedicated faculty members ensure a favorable student-to-instructor ratio, allowing graduate students to collaborate extensively with professors and participate in active research initiatives including predictive analytics, fiscal policy evaluation, and economic development in emerging markets.
