This program is designed for you. Urban and Regional Development focuses on examining economic growth and environmental sustainability within our constructed and natural spaces. The Bachelor of Science degree explores topics like urban expansion, economic activity distribution, land use, and real estate. Students develop skills in data analysis, geographic information systems, and hands-on fieldwork. They also engage in interactive learning through remote-sensing labs. Graduates leave with practical abilities including teamwork, research analysis, industry software proficiency, design thinking, strategic planning, and knowledge of planning regulations.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Evaluate the environmental, financial, and social viability of urban spaces
Examine geographic differences in urban social, cultural, and economic characteristics and demonstrate their effects on city life
Communicate clearly through speech and writing to various groups and stakeholders
Recognize and evaluate urban development challenges using diverse social science approaches
Work cooperatively to implement urban development knowledge
Use both qualitative and quantitative methods to thoroughly assess urban and regional development concerns
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:

IB (English A – Higher Level) - 5 or higher
Cambridge English Scale (C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency) - 169
