Criminal Justice Studies explores every aspect connected to crime, legal frameworks, and the justice system. The curriculum covers law enforcement, judicial processes, correctional systems, crime policy, youth justice, mental health legislation, corporate crime, national security, and intelligence strategies. Supported by the Rombach Institute on Crime, Delinquency and Corrections, this Bachelor of Science program cultivates critical thinking about justice-related challenges—an essential skill in today's intricate and politically charged world. Students also gain professional competencies like leadership, ethical decision-making, and organizational management throughout their studies.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Justice System Fundamentals, Learners will acquire fundamental knowledge of the U.S. criminal justice process, from lawmaking to enforcement through policing, courts, and rehabilitation systems.
Crime and Governance, Participants will comprehend the relationship between criminal justice operations and governmental structures and political systems.
Core Principles, Students will establish foundational knowledge of key concepts, approaches, theories, and research methods in their selected criminal justice specialization.
Analytical Skills, Graduates will develop investigative, writing, and interpretive abilities applicable to criminal justice professions.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
