The Criminology and Criminal Justice concentration is offered for undergraduate students. This program takes a liberal arts approach and critical viewpoint toward crime and justice systems. Our primary goal is to equip students with analytical skills to comprehend the diverse causes and patterns of criminal behavior and justice responses. Through this, we aim to foster compassionate perspectives on criminological matters and encourage democratic reforms in crime control systems. Additionally, the undergraduate criminology program prepares students with foundational knowledge and critical thinking abilities valuable for those continuing to graduate studies in sociology or criminal justice fields.
