Gain an in-depth perspective on the interconnected relationship between agriculture and economics while mastering sustainable global resource management. Those enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Economics and Management program can choose between two specializations: the Agricultural Economics track emphasizes responsible stewardship of human capital, food systems, land, water, and other vital resources to safeguard our planet's future. The curriculum combines business administration with applied economics, covering food and fiber production, commodity markets, agricultural product distribution, supply chain logistics, and agribusiness operations. For over seven decades, the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics has earned acclaim for its distinguished faculty, impactful policy research, and exceptional academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Specialized Knowledge, Develop practical understanding of microeconomic frameworks to assess business and policy alternatives.
Analytical Reasoning & Decision Making, Accurately recognize economic challenges, collect data, assess solutions using relevant methodologies, implement strategies, and evaluate outcomes.
Effective Communication, Convey complex economic concepts clearly through writing, speech, and visual aids for diverse audiences.
Teamwork & Guidance, Work productively in group settings while demonstrating leadership qualities when appropriate in professional environments.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country.
International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:

IB (English A – Higher Level) - 5 or higher
