Enhance your musical abilities with this Performance degree program. At the University of Arizona, viola players collaborate with some of the nation's most gifted student musicians. Those pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Viola concentration train at the prestigious Fred Fox School of Music. Participants also audition for ensemble placement, gaining extensive orchestral experience. The curriculum covers essential subjects like music literature, history, orchestration, conducting, and private instruction. Numerous student groups, such as the American String Teachers Association Student Chapter, offer networking and community-building opportunities for viola students and fellow musicians.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
