The Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Composition focus equips aspiring composers to navigate the evolving demands of the field. At the Fred Fox School of Music, students benefit from personalized composition lessons in both traditional and electronic formats, taught by acclaimed faculty. The curriculum also includes studies in music theory, improvisation, historical context, orchestration, and conducting techniques. Faculty members are dedicated to helping students grasp core principles of musical artistry and the dynamic relationships between composers, performers, and audiences in shaping musical experiences.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
