The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television program prepares aspiring filmmakers for careers as directors, producers, screenwriters, cinematographers, editors, sound designers, and other key industry roles. Instruction comes from an acclaimed faculty of internationally renowned, award-winning professionals. Throughout the program, students create original content and participate in numerous film productions each term. This intensive, practice-based curriculum focuses on professional standards and technical excellence, allowing students to refine their skills across all stages of filmmaking - from concept development to final post-production. Alumni have established successful careers across various sectors of the entertainment industry, including development, production, and distribution.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Creative Expression, Produce distinctive fiction and nonfiction works that showcase individual artistic vision.
Technical Proficiency, Exhibit advanced expertise in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and audio production/post-production.
Teamwork, Successfully collaborate with fellow students during all phases of film creation.
Industry Standards, Maintain professional conduct when working with colleagues and instructors.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
TOEFL iBT - 70
IELTS - 6.0
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - 53
IB (English A – Higher Level) - 5 or higher
Cambridge English Scale (C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency) - 169
Cambridge GCSE, O Level or higher (English) - C or higher
