Pursue a dynamic cybersecurity career by enrolling in a program recognized by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations. The Bachelor of Applied Science with a Cyber Operations focus from the College of Applied Science and Technology offers two specialized pathways. The Engineering track concentrates on security-oriented computer science, while the Defense and Forensics track focuses on cyber education. Both options are available either on-campus or entirely online. Students from both tracks gain hands-on experience through Cyberapolis, an advanced virtual learning environment featuring a simulated city with businesses and residents. This VLE enables Cyber Operations students to practice offensive and defensive system tactics, exploring vulnerabilities and protection strategies. Alumni secure cybersecurity positions across government and industry sectors.
