Electrical and computer engineers develop the essential technologies that power our daily lives, from smartphones and computers to navigation systems. At Johns Hopkins, students master core principles in electrical, computer, and digital systems, along with data structures and circuitry, while gaining practical experience to apply theoretical knowledge. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department provides multiple undergraduate degree paths at Johns Hopkins University, including an accelerated bachelor's/master's program. Students in the BS/MSE track complete identical BS degree requirements as their peers. Every program offers distinct goals and learning outcomes tailored to its participants. Both the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering bachelor's programs hold ABET accreditation through its Accreditation Commission.
