Graduate students from UAH's Computer Science Department rank among the nation's most in-demand job applicants. After completing their degrees, our graduates successfully pursue careers in dynamic fields including cybersecurity, software development, systems analysis, software engineering, network architecture, database administration, and cloud computing.
All graduate-level course lectures are recorded by the Computer Science Department. These recordings are made available through Canvas to support working professionals pursuing advanced degrees. (Undergraduate courses are exempt from this policy.) While regular class attendance is strongly recommended for graduate students, mandatory in-person attendance typically applies only during exam periods or when projects, demonstrations, or classroom activities are scheduled.
Students applying for the master's program are expected to have an undergraduate background in CS.
