The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSCHEE) with a Biotechnology specialization equips students for professional roles in biotech, pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, agricultural innovations, diagnostic technologies, and novel food and energy solutions. The BSCHEE in Chemical Engineering educates students to handle scenarios involving chemical transformations or physical state changes of matter, giving it exceptionally broad applications. Core chemical engineering principles include heat/mass transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, chemical reaction kinetics, and process control.
