The Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science with a Plant Breeding and Biotechnology concentration provides students with specialized training in horticultural sciences. This program, one of four concentrations within the Department of Horticultural Science, offers a flexible curriculum where students can focus on either plant breeding or biotechnology. The core requirements include foundational courses in Biology, Soil Science, Chemistry (General, Organic I & II), Biochemistry, Genetics, and Whole Plant Physiology. Students then customize their education by selecting additional courses from specialized categories: Plant Protection Electives, Business Electives, and Advised Electives.
