The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science provides students with foundational knowledge in governance, political systems, policy analysis, and state institutions. This curriculum explores specialized areas including political philosophy, global affairs, comparative government studies, legal systems, analytical techniques, policy development, and U.S. political structures. A key program emphasis involves cultivating abilities to formulate, assess, and improve governmental policies.
Political Science as a field of study equips learners with understanding of governing systems, political processes, policy frameworks, and state functions, encompassing specialized domains such as theoretical approaches, international diplomacy, cross-national political comparisons, constitutional law, investigative methodologies, policy formulation, and domestic political systems.
International applicants must meet all established requirements for admission from secondary schools or from other colleges and universities.
In order to be considered for admission to degree programs with no additional English language training required, applicants must meet the following minimums on the TOEFL or IELTS.
TOEFL (iBT): all sub-scores greater than or equal to 18 OR
IELTS: all sub-scores greater than or equal to 6.0
