As part of the Nursing Health Systems Leadership Pathway, the Nurse Educator specialization equips master's-level nurses to instruct nursing and healthcare delivery across diverse environments. This track focuses on developing professionals who create and execute educational initiatives tailored for various groups such as patients, families, nursing students, vocational learners, and practicing nurses seeking continuing education.
Designed with working nurses in mind, the program follows a flexible part-time schedule delivered through a hybrid distance learning model that blends live virtual sessions with periodic on-campus immersions.
The curriculum includes five core courses delivering advanced nursing theory, establishing a robust foundation in high-level patient care concepts. Hands-on practicum and residency components provide comprehensive training for future educator roles.
