As a musical theater student, you'll study acting, vocal techniques, singing, music theory, movement, and dance. Whether your goal is to become an actor, vocalist, dancer, or another type of performer, we'll guide you through the intricacies of working in theater hubs like New York, Los Angeles, or other locations. Your musical theater journey starts with either Introduction to Theatre or Introduction to Dance, then progresses to specialized classes that enhance your dance abilities. You'll put these skills into practice through musical theater performances, acting exercises, theater tech work, and unique opportunities like our NYC Showcase program. Additionally, you'll take part in a minimum of four major stage productions annually, along with studio performances. By graduation, you'll have gained comprehensive practical and academic training across various aspects of musical theater.
