The sculpture program offers students an exploration of both classic and modern sculpting techniques. This discipline expands on the spatial concepts covered in Three-Dimensional Design while focusing on conceptual development. Throughout the semester, learners will engage with diverse materials, techniques, and creative concepts. They'll conduct research, test ideas with different mediums, and demonstrate their grasp of form and craftsmanship. Key objectives include: advancing terminology and verbal expression of concepts, strengthening analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, refining artistic judgment, and introducing fundamental sculptural principles and materials. Participants will acquire hands-on technical skills while examining the methodologies of contemporary and modern sculptors.
