The School of Music provides a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) program specializing in conducting (both wind and choral), composition, and performance.
As an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music, the School adheres strictly to NASM standards. Students can pursue the DMA degree with focus areas in composition, performance, choral conducting, or wind conducting, along with optional secondary concentrations. Qualification Requirements
Each international applicant must hold the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution to be eligible for graduate admission. While individual departments may have more stringent requirements, bachelor degrees from Bologna Accord certified institutions are considered to meet this criterion. We do also consider Indian three-year degrees to be equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree.
