Speech-language pathologists evaluate and help individuals of all ages who struggle with speech, language, voice, fluency, articulation, cognitive issues, and swallowing difficulties. They offer technological solutions to improve communication abilities for everyday life. Audiologists identify and address hearing and balance conditions, offering services such as hearing aid fittings, counseling for hearing loss, auditory rehabilitation, and noise level assessments.

The preprofessional program establishes a scientific foundation and understanding of human communication and swallowing processes, preparing students for graduate studies in audiology or speech-language pathology.
Hands-on clinical training occurs during graduate-level education.
