This concentration prepares students for advanced studies in botany, zoology, conservation biology, or ecology, as well as careers in environmental education, government environmental agencies, and private sector roles. Students pursuing this concentration should consider enrolling in both BIOL 205 and BIOL 207. Active participation in research projects or internships (such as BIOL 491, BIOL 493, or BIOL 499) is highly recommended. Students are advised to discuss these opportunities with their academic advisors.
