As a Health Sciences BS/Pre-Nursing student, you'll develop essential critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through core science, psychology, and humanities courses at our East Falls campus. You'll engage in campus life alongside peers from diverse fields including pre-med, health sciences, engineering, architecture, and design through both academic and extracurricular activities.
Our program features instruction from expert faculty using cutting-edge teaching methods. Nursing students gain real-world experience through clinical rotations and hands-on simulations across various healthcare environments - from emergency departments to outpatient clinics and community health centers. The two-year Health Sciences curriculum covers all prerequisite requirements for priority admission into Jefferson's College of Nursing BSN program. Qualified students who meet progression standards are assured placement in the BSN program, available at both our Center City and Dixon campuses.
