Architecture connects scientific principles with artistic expression. Successful architecture students are well-rounded individuals capable of handling both the precision of technical thinking and the fluidity of creative exploration. Alongside the standard architecture degree, the College of Architecture provides combined programs with the Whitacre College of Engineering and the Rawls College of Business. Career opportunities span various fields including design, construction, real estate, product innovation, and sales. The foundational architecture curriculum serves as both an introduction to the discipline and a gateway to broader university education, meeting both specialized and general education requirements. This 12-credit certificate program allows undergraduate architecture students to concentrate their advanced studies on the growing field of eco-conscious and sustainable design. Participants will complete one sustainable design studio course and two elective architecture courses from a curated selection. The program includes an international study opportunity through an overseas undergraduate design studio.
