Architectural engineers oversee the planning, design, construction, and upkeep of buildings. They create and implement structural frameworks, climate control solutions, electrical and illumination networks, as well as water supply and fire safety installations, while also managing construction processes. These professionals implement sustainable approaches for both individual structures and broader communities. They coordinate preservation efforts and modernization projects for older buildings. The Architectural Engineering curriculum offers four focus areas: Structural Engineering, Mechanical (HVAC)/Electrical/Lighting Systems, Construction Management, and Facilities Operations.

Minimum grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.00 system.
An applicant whose native language is not English is required to submit a test score of 61 as the minimum acceptance level of performance on the Test of English as a Foreign Language, (TOEFL) IBT or 5.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). We will also accept the Duolingo English Test with a score of 71 or higher. International students with superior scholastic records are considered for admission as freshmen and as transfer students.
