The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Texas Tech University provides four years of financial assistance to all PhD candidates who remain in good academic standing. Students benefit from an attractive stipend and affordable living expenses, allowing them to focus fully on their graduate studies. Our department grants both Master's and PhD degrees in Chemistry, featuring research concentrations in classic Chemistry and Biochemistry disciplines, along with numerous cross-disciplinary fields. The master's program requires at least 19 graduate-level course credits and 5 research credits.
