The MEV in Environmental Engineering holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (www.abet.org) and represents a comprehensive 154-hour combined bachelor's-to-master's program centered on environmental engineering. The curriculum emphasizes key specialization areas through advanced and graduate courses, covering water resources, environmental chemistry, wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal, hazardous waste handling, air quality control, and public health engineering. MEV candidates gain formal admission to upper-level coursework following faculty evaluation at the conclusion of their sophomore year. Enrollment in graduate courses requires meeting all Graduate School admission criteria established by the university.
