The retail management program aims to equip students with the skills to positively impact both the retail sector and broader society through excellent education, research, and community engagement. By examining diverse global consumers alongside the intricate systems of retail operations, faculty foster collaborative relationships between academia and the retail industry. The curriculum blends theoretical foundations with practical elements like e-commerce, leadership development, category management, and career strategy (incorporating technology, communications, marketing, business administration, finance, and economic principles). Through internships, industry projects, and alumni connections, students gain exposure to retail leaders and companies during their studies. The Fashion Merchandising specialization combines apparel studies with retail fundamentals, offering targeted courses in fashion retail alongside the core retail curriculum.
