The Bachelor of Applied Arts in Commercial Music program is a collaborative effort between Texas Tech University (TTU) and South Plains College's (SPC) Creative Arts Department. Students who earn their Associate of Applied Arts in Commercial Music from SPC can apply to continue their studies toward the B.A.A.C.M. degree at Texas Tech. All undergraduate music majors taking applied lessons must attend various performance events each semester, including recitals, guest artist performances, ensemble concerts, chamber music events, opera and musical theater productions, as well as Presidential Lecture and Performance Series presentations.
