Students gain interdisciplinary engineering expertise with rigorous academics and industry-aligned practical applications. The Ingram School of Engineering (ISoE) graduate program equips learners with essential knowledge, competencies, and hands-on experience to thrive professionally. Our curriculum prioritizes research and career growth, offering students chances to participate in innovative research initiatives, obtain certifications, and join training programs that maintain their competitive edge. ISoE maintains dynamic Industrial Advisory Boards comprising alumni and local industry leaders, guaranteeing our programs stay current, accredited, and responsive to industry needs.
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering delivers practical, industry-oriented training through an extensive technical project or thesis addressing real-world engineering challenges. These initiatives involve collaborations with regional industries and potential off-campus partnerships. The program mandates a significant project or thesis, as problem-solving skills, innovation capacity, and immediate industry impact are best cultivated when students tackle complex, open-ended challenges; conduct thorough research; explore multiple solutions; select and execute optimal approaches; verify results; and clearly articulate their process to peers, leadership, and clients.
