This highly regarded program offers thorough, challenging coursework through both foundational and advanced study options. Distinguished faculty members, recognized for their scholarly contributions and field leadership, prioritize student guidance and facilitate collaborative clinical and applied research experiences. The 36-credit master of education in special education delivers focused, advanced training targeting key aspects of educating students with learning challenges, particularly addressing teaching methods, behavioral support, and social development. Alongside the master's degree, candidates can pursue Texas State University's LDInclusion certification. The curriculum consists of 30 core credits plus six elective credits in a related discipline.
