The Professional Counseling Master of Arts program provides a structured course progression that enhances clinical abilities through both theoretical and practical training. Coursework covers fundamental instruction in counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, evaluation methods, advanced ethical considerations, multicultural competence, and research methodologies. Beyond foundational and intermediate courses focusing on specific client groups, students undertake clinical practicum training at our facilities and complete internships at various counseling locations throughout Central Texas.
