The College of Fine Arts and Communication Academic Advising Center offers guidance to students regarding academic and administrative concerns. Advisors help students explore degree programs, career pathways, course selection, and bachelor's degree requirements. The center serves both enrolled students and those exploring potential majors or minors within the College.
The Sound Recording Technology (SRT) program stands unique in the Southwest region, preparing students for diverse roles in the recording industry. Graduates pursue careers as music producers, live sound engineers, post-production specialists, and other audio-related professions. The program combines hands-on recording experience with professional mentorship, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Completion of the full SRT major is mandatory.

First-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum.
Graduate with the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.
