The Psychology Department provides an exceptional undergraduate program that draws over 2,100 majors along with numerous minors. The program balances structure and choice, featuring essential core courses alongside diverse electives tailored to individual interests. Undergraduates can obtain hands-on research experience in faculty labs and practical job training through faculty-supervised internships. Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills can be cultivated through participation in the Psychology Association and Texas State's Psi Chi chapter, the international psychology honor society.
