The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art cultivates visually skilled artists by providing comprehensive training in conceptual development, technical proficiency, art history, and professional practices through diverse studio and academic coursework. Our Studio Art curriculum features seven specialized disciplines, offering exceptional learning opportunities in Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Metalsmithing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture. These concentrations enable students to connect their artistic exploration with other creative interests and media across the Studio program. The BFA program concludes with a culminating Thesis course, final Thesis Portfolio, and a Thesis Exhibition. Designed to accommodate varied artistic aspirations, the Studio Art program equips graduates for professional careers as practicing artists and arts administrators. The School of Art and Design promotes innovative and scholarly work that enhances students' conceptual thinking and technical skills while fostering strong visual communication abilities.
This course provides students with hands-on professional experience in studio arts while earning academic credit for their field-related activities.

First-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum.
Graduate with the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.
