The School of Music provides Master of Music degrees in Music Education, Performance, and Conducting. Prospective students must complete a graduate-level placement exam for appropriate course assignment. Those applying for Performance or Conducting programs need to arrange an audition and interview with their respective applied music professor or ensemble director. Music Education candidates are required to undertake a three-credit research project relevant to their teaching specialization (Research Project Option). Performance and Conducting students fulfill their research requirement through recitals or concerts, with the alternative of completing an in-depth Graduate Thesis (Thesis Option).

You are required to submit official transcripts from each postsecondary university or college attended An official statement of the award of the degree or diploma is required for each degree completed College work from one institution posted on the transcript of another institution will not be accepted.
