The Department of Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi aims to develop skilled professionals in athletic training, exercise science fields, physical education, sports management, pre-allied health areas, and sports performance across South Texas and other regions. Our faculty dedicate themselves to equipping students with career-ready skills through innovative teaching methods, meaningful research contributions, and active involvement in university and community service.
Those pursuing a BS in Kinesiology can focus on EC-12 Physical Education Certification, Exercise Science with Strength & Conditioning, or Pre-Allied Health tracks. The program requires completion of at least 42 semester credit hours in University Core Courses and a minimum of 23 semester credit hours in Kinesiology Major Requirements.
