The Educational Psychology master's program on campus, with its Research, Measurement and Statistics (RMS) concentration, addresses diverse quantitative and methodological topics such as multivariate statistics, item response theory, hierarchical linear modeling, structural equation modeling, time series analysis, growth modeling, and Monte Carlo simulations.
RMS professors are internationally renowned experts. Their recently launched Summer Statistics Workshops draw participants from throughout the state and nationwide. These faculty members not only pioneer advanced quantitative research techniques but also dedicate themselves to mentoring future methodology specialists. This specialization prepares graduates for sought-after roles in university teaching positions as well as measurement and evaluation careers in schools and private industry. RMS alumni work at prominent universities and research institutions across the country.
