The Master of Science in Data Science is an on-campus, cross-disciplinary program jointly provided by the Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics departments across the University's Colleges of Engineering and Arts and Science, in collaboration with the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science.

The program features four specialized tracks, each managed by a participating department. Upon admission, students select and follow one track throughout their studies. The comprehensive curriculum (detailed below) establishes strong fundamentals in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and machine learning through required courses, followed by specialized elective options from various contributing departments.

This Data Science MS program equips graduates for diverse professional opportunities in fields such as consulting firms, financial institutions, government organizations, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, marketing services, private enterprises, and tech companies.
