The call for principled leaders with strong moral character in public service has never been more urgent. Recent years have seen growing expectations for transparency and ethical conduct, a trend that shows no signs of slowing. The MPSA program cultivates ethical leaders for government and nonprofit organizations, equipping students with essential skills and understanding to navigate today's complex challenges while maintaining high standards of integrity.
The Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) is a two-year, 48-credit degree program. Those lacking significant work experience must undertake a summer internship between academic years, which doesn't carry academic credit. The program features ten core courses that build foundational expertise in management, leadership, policy analysis, and research methodologies. This educational journey concludes with a Capstone project during the second year, allowing students to tackle real-world issues using their acquired knowledge. While some elective courses are available online, students can complete the entire program through in-person instruction.
