Horticulture graduate programs are overseen by the Graduate Faculty in the Department of Horticultural Sciences, following Texas A&M University's established policies and procedures.
The Master of Agriculture (MAgr) in Horticulture offers professional graduate training focused on management development, problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and communication skills through creative instruction and guided horticultural internships. This program aims to equip students for careers in horticultural industries, providing the knowledge and experience needed to advance into leadership roles within their field.
Applicants holding a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or qualifying Texas A&M seniors in their final semester, may seek admission to pursue the non-thesis Master of Agriculture degree. The student's advisory committee will determine any necessary prerequisite coursework.
