Intellectual Property law centers on safeguarding, developing, and applying innovative and creative works, requiring specialized knowledge in areas like patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. To complete an Intellectual Property concentration, students need to complete at least 16 credits in required and elective courses. A minimum GPA of 2.33 must be maintained in all graded courses counting toward the concentration. Courses taken for credit cannot be completed on a pass/fail basis to fulfill these requirements. While course substitutions are typically not permitted, exceptions may be made under special circumstances.
